Mode:

Determines the mode of operation of the outputs. The selected mode is written in caps letter mode at the top side of the editor.

Use the radio buttons to select the mixer operation mode - Online, Offline or Presets.

Offline - allows you to add or edit Levels section and add them as Presets if needed.

Online - In this mode you are not able to edit Levels or Presets section.

Presets - use it to edit a preset in Preset section.

 

 

Levels section

Right - click in levels' section will evoke a sub-menu.

To create new level choose Add new level, and therefore a new dialog will open:  

 

To redact currently existing level, simply click on the desired Level and choose Edit Level.

To remove an existing level from the levels section, select Delete level from the sub menu.

 

Level Settings:

Level № - automatically generates the next sequential number assigned to a level, starting at 1.

Signal Type - The signal type associated with the level.

For each level, a list of available signal types is automatically generated according to the type of router.

The fundamental signal types are AES, timecode, digital video, analog video, analog audio, and machine control.

 

Source Settings:

Ending Source

The range specified by the start and end values depends on your intentions, but cannot exceed the maximum range of the router.

Controller Starting Source - The logical port number in the router control system that maps to the physical input starting number.

The range specified by the start and end values depends on your intentions, but cannot exceed the maximum range of the router.

 

Controller Starting Destination - The logical port number in the router control system that maps to the physical output starting number.

Note: Strictly speaking the “controller source” numbers and “controller destination” numbers are really port numbers in the router control system, not source and destination numbers. Sources and destinations in the router control system are aggregates of router ports, often spanning multiple routers.

 

To define inputs and outputs of the selected level, mark and unmark the cross cells in the grid with a single click. Double-clicking on a column/row header opens a dialog for changing its label.

 

Presets section:

Save as preset - Saves the current presets (devices and level mappings) in X-Y mode. Once you are satisfied with your configuration, you can save it as preset and reuse it later (if needed).

When you click on Save as Preset button, a new dialog will open, where you will be able to define name for the preset.

Delete - permanently removes the selected preset.

NOTE: Levels configuration are included in the preset and the preset will remove

 

When you operate in offline mode, click OK to apply the changes in the event setup. In on-line mode, Click TAKE to swap from preset to program instantaneously.
