Schedule

In the Schedule tab you can define Naming Type for all files, captured in Schedule mode. File names are entered AUTOMATICALLY, based on the original filename entered in the File Name field (in Schedule mode) and the indexing type, selected in this section.

The Naming type section contains the following radio-buttons for indexing options:

Increment name (Zero Based) – consequent file names are formed by adding increasing numbers to the original file name. The number, added to the original file name is always zero. Choosing this option will enable the Zero Based Settings section to the right.

Increment name (Calendar Based) – consequent file names are formed by adding the subsequent calendar number of the capturing day to the original file name (this number is from 1 to 365, or 366 in leap years).

Insert date – inserts the capturing date in the filename. Choosing this option will enable the Date format and Date position sections below.

Same name (Overwrite) – each time X-Pert Ingest starts schedule capturing, it will overwrite data to the same file.

In the Zero Based Settings section, use the Number Of Digits spin-box to set the number of digits, up to which the file name will be increased.

In the Date format section, specify the date format, which will be used in the file name – year, month, date or the format you have selected in the regional settings of your operation system.

In the Date position section, specify the date position in file name – before or after name.

Check Increment file name on manual capture to apply the file name increment settings, specified above to manual capturing as well.

NOTE: File name incrementing is valid only for Schedule mode, for more than one capturing session (daily or weekly repetition).
